Born and raised in Southeast Michigan, I grew up with a love of the outdoors — snowmobiling, hunting, boating, camping, and summers at our family's place in Northern Michigan. Travel was something that snuck up on me.
My kids played travel softball and volleyball, and most of our early trips were tournament weekends and road trips to warm beaches for spring break. That's where my wife and I caught the travel bug. We joined a vacation club and never looked back — from the Florida Keys and Charleston to New York City, Myrtle Beach, Destin, St. Pete Beach, and large group trips to the Riviera Maya.
Today I'm a Fora-certified travel advisor with 30+ years of logistics experience. I serve as director and recruiting coordinator at a large travel softball organization, which means I understand exactly what families, coaches, and groups need when it comes to coordinated travel.
